In 2010, CADAT introduced the first comprehensive resource manual for the California RDA Law and Ethics Examination. On June 1, 2011, our 2nd Edition of the book was launched with amended chapter data, additional study/vocabulary cards, and chapter test questions.
The material provided in this preparation book is the detailed language specific to the regulations, statutes and penal codes defined in the Dental Board of California’s examination outline, with contributions from:
- The California Dental Association
- The American Dental Association
- The Dental Assisting National Board
- The California Code of Regulations
Each chapter is specific to the examination outline provided by the state board and includes the Codes of Ethics and Professional Conduct referred to in the examination as resources needed for study preparation for this examination. CADAT has brought all the regulatory and statutory language together to help exam candidates prepare for licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant.
Whether exam candidates have graduated from a formal education program or have applied via work experience, this preparation book will provide the resources needed to prepare in a simple 82-page three-hole punched manual for easy insertion into binders or folios. Study cards for terms used and defined in the content outline are also included.

The fees for shipping will depend upon the total number of units being shipped at one time; however, the shipping fees for one to five books will shipped via USPS or UPS Ground will be $7.95 (allow 5 - 7 days for processing and shipping). We encourage using the manual Book Order Form for quantities over five books as shipping costs vary. Schools may issue purchase orders provided invoice is paid within 30 days.
